Refilming scenes 8 and 9

Hello! This past week after filming scenes 6 and 7, my group had to get together again to refilm scenes 8 and 9. We had filmed these scenes a couple of weeks ago the first time we got together. That day, we skipped filming the first few scenes and jumped to these two, since some of the actors in the previous scenes were unavailable, and it was bringing so we couldn't film the scenes that were outdoors. However, in the time between us filming those scenes and filming the rest of the opening sequence, Harlow (who plays one of our main characters) got a haircut. She cut her hair shoulder-length, and so the change was very noticeable since in scenes 8 and 9 she had very long hair, and in the rest of the film, her hair is short. We decided it would be best to refilm those two scenes, as it would look weird if halfway through the film her hair changes for only a couple of shots.
Unfortunately, I was unable to meet and film this day. It did not affect the filming process though, since while filming we are taking Covid precautions and only 2 of us are able to be inside at a time. The first time we shot these scenes, one of us went inside with the actor to film and direct while the other stayed outside and waited, and then we switched.
However, after filming, we met together on google meets so I could be caught up. We are editing on my computer, so I got sent all the footage and I was able to go through it, and we talked about what changes were made. The first time we shot these scenes, we forgot to add the tilt on scene 8 when the girl is standing in front of the door, so they were able to add that in. Also, a high shot was added of the girl running up the stairs, so it would match the high shot of the mom running up the stairs earlier in the film.  We don't know if we will end up using it, as our video is already very long. We have not finished editing it yet, but I have a feeling we will have to cut some scenes. However, it is nice to have it just in case. Lastly, there were changes made to the 3rd shot in this scene. This is the shot in which the girl is walking to the kitchen, and at first, we had planned for it to be a cowboy shot but it was changed to a midshot.
I liked and agreed with the changes my teammates made, as they corrected some mistakes and added some shots I believe will be beneficial. Overall, I think the feel of the film is still the same, and I think our project is turning out really well.
